THE JASON ANDERSON SCHOLARSHIP FOR FAMU-FSU COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING STUDENTS

Award: The Jason Anderson Scholarship is an award of financial aid for engineering students to further their education at Florida A&M University. The 2017 Scholarship award will be for $2,275. Funds will be paid directly to the institution prior to the start of the Fall 2017 semester. If for any reason, the winner fails to attend school in the Fall semester, the scholarship will be reallocated at the discretion of the selection committee.


Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time FAMU students in the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. Applicants must be a DC, MD, or VA native. Applicants must have at least 3.2 cumulative GPA.

1. Applicant must download scholarship application via FAMU Young Alumni Giving website.

2. Applicant must submit a 2,000-3,000 word essay about why you want to major in engineering and your life goals.

3. Submissions are due no later than August 4, 2017. The winner(s) will be announced on September 4, 2017.
